Scanned file (though I trust CyberLink), ran the setup which downloaded the install files from CyberLink in about 40 seconds (264.94 MB file). I downloaded the setup file in a few seconds (3 maybe).

Went to check my email, sure enough there's the download link and License Key. I took a different route today and visited Cyberlink's product page for the download because I read the other reviewer's complaint about the download speed and thought what the heck. It's generally a useful and decent Photo Tool to have and enjoy! Thanks. I wish and hope is that easy for everyone else.

I had 2 previous versions of PhotoDirector (5&6) on my PC and they stayed intact (during installation they'd ask if you want to keep your settings, I said yes to that) Next run a shortcut from your desktop, start the Program and register with given Key. I created Folder on my external Drive, which is always useful if you're not sure it'll provide one and had no problem installing it. Once running Installer it downloads larger (264MB) exe file and gives choice where to install it.

Next filled simple form with name and e-mail (I think e-mail is only needed in case they want you to agree to newsletters, but one can simply opt out), got License Key there and then on page (to be copied and pasted later on) and d/loaded Installer from THERE, rather than GOTD page, in this instance. Hi, I went straight to their homepage where you'll find:Įxclusive download for Giveaway of the Day', I give up I just dont have the time for something so difficult. It seems to me that there is a bug at the point where it transfers the path and filename from the file manager. For a brief moment it says no photo found just long enough for me to read it then I get a continuous revolving star and loading which it is not. If I click on make extra copy all is well but if I click on keep in current location then import. I get a window with a thumbnail without a picture and a yellow exclamation mark in the middle and some options. It comes up with windows file manager and I navigate to F: select a photo and click on open. In the library tab is import I click on that and select photos from the pop up. So I create a new project and the folder for the project is on F: and its created it fine so it can read and write to F. I was not aware that it searched my system for photos and cant find a way to ask it to do so.

Terry E, It starts with library highlighted and clicking on it with it highligted does nothing.
